Volunteers brave weather to rescue plants along trail (Cape Gazette)

More than 20 volunteers, ranging from young to old, descended on the Junction and Breakwater Trail Saturday morning, Sept. 6, to rescue more than 500 ferns and swamp horsetails.

School board members back Cape High School reorganization plan (Cape Gazette)

An innovative plan to reorganize Cape High into six academies has won the support of the Cape Henlopen school board. Cape Henlopen Superintendent George Stone told the board he needed board consensus to move forward with the plan to offer students classes in six career-oriented curriculum areas.
